Originally started back in May 2011, Kaminarianime was established to link together my love for anime and writing as well as examining the Japanese visual subculture in ways I never have before as a hobbyist and enthusiastic, level-head fan. Since then, I decided to start my blog anew as of December 2011 and enter not as a passive writer working to improve his craft, but as a focused Anime/Editorial/Japanese visual subculture site providing the best content possible in order to understand this elusive love of mine.
